Description
Wonder-tale / legendary-song heroine of Arbëresh Italian Albanian song: a girl meets the kuçedër on the Mountain of the Kuçedër and declares she is ‘e bija e diellit dhe e hënës’ (moon for mother, sun for father); the dragon would eat her, then greets her and lets her go (Tirta 2004 p. 72 citing Haxhihasani). Parallel escape grammar with drangue–kulshedra tellings — a separate figure from the Southeast clay-doll burial called Nëna e Diellit.
