Southeast Albanian calendar rite figure: in Devoll of Korçë, on a day linked with Rusicat, village women and girls gather, feast (petë, kulaç, beans, sweets), then make a clay doll called Nëna e Diellit, set it on a tile, and bury it outside the village with funeral seriousness. After burial they share specially prepared kuleç — every house takes some for livestock ‘për të pasur bulmet’; sometimes boiled wheat is also shared (Tirta 2004 pp. 259–260). The rite reads as agricultural and pastoral fertility care — milk and grain for the herds.
